A website that earns its place in your business.
FDesign designs and builds WordPress websites around the way your business actually works, then hands them over fast, accessible and ready for you to run.
Custom design is included in every package. It is not billed as an extra on top of a template.
Google grades real visits, not lab runs. Around half of mobile pages fail these three. Every FDesign build is measured on a mid-range phone before handover.
What a weak website quietly costs
Most business sites are not broken. They just never do the one job they were built for.
Nobody finds it
No structure, no titles, no schema. The site exists, but it never shows up for the services or products you offer.
It struggles on a phone
Most of your visitors arrive on mobile. A heavy build loses them before the first screen finishes loading.
You cannot change it
Every price, photo or phone number becomes an email and an invoice, so the site slowly goes out of date.
Visitors leave undecided
Traffic arrives, reads a page with nothing to do next, and goes back to the search results.
What is actually in the build
The same standard applies whichever package you pick. Only the size of the site changes.
Design made for you included
Structure, layout and design shaped around your goals and your content. No bought theme dressed up as a custom project.
Front-end built by hand
Semantic, standards-based markup and CSS. Fast on a mid-range phone, keyboard accessible and light enough to keep performance high.
SEO foundations from day one
URL structure, titles and meta, headings, schema, XML sitemap, Search Console and Analytics connected before launch.
Yours to run and to keep
Domain and hosting in your name, full admin access, and a handover session so you can edit content without calling anyone.
FDesign has been building this way since 2015.

A site is not finished when it goes live
Two things keep a WordPress site healthy after handover. Neither is compulsory, and both can be taken elsewhere.
Hosting and server
Managed hosting, with SSL, daily off-server backups and Cloudflare in front. The domain stays registered in your name, and the site can be moved out whenever you want it moved.
Ask about hostingMaintenance and support
Core and plugin updates tested before they are applied, content and product edits, image and PageSpeed work, and backups that have been restored at least once so you know they work.
Ask about maintenanceWordPress security
Monitoring, firewall and incident response for sites that cannot afford downtime. If a site is already compromised, cleanup is a separate one-off service.

Dorothy Fiedor
Founder of FDesign, Senior WordPress and WooCommerce Engineer
Dorothy Fiedor is a senior WordPress and WooCommerce engineer in Athens and the founder of FDesign. She designs, builds and runs production stores end to end, from the UX and the custom plugins to WooCommerce HPOS migrations, ERP and marketplace integrations, and the managed hosting behind them, including PHP-FPM worker tuning and MariaDB upgrades. Since 2020 she has also been the in-house WordPress engineer for a multi-brand supplement e-commerce group.
Her background is in design. She trained in graphic design in Athens and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, produced multilingual publications for EU institutions, and moved to the web in 2015, building WordPress sites, hand-coded HTML email for major brands such as Papastratos and BMW, and Magento front ends for car parts retailers, while growing FDesign alongside. That route from design into engineering is why her work covers the interface, the code and the infrastructure as one job.
BA in Graphic Design, Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Polish native speaker, fluent in Greek and English.

What people ask before starting
How much does a WordPress website cost?
A five-page business site starts at 790 euro and a ten-page site with a blog starts at 1,390 euro, both excluding VAT. Larger or custom projects are quoted after the brief. The reason FDesign publishes these numbers is that the design is included in them. Packages advertised at a lower price often treat a design made for you as a separate charge, which is where the difference usually appears.
Is WordPress a good choice for a small business website?
For most small businesses, yes. It runs a large share of the web, so hosting, plugins and developers who know it are easy to find and you are not tied to one supplier. You can edit your own content without paying anyone, add a shop or a booking system later without rebuilding the site, and the SEO tooling is mature. There are two cases where it is the wrong answer: a single page that never changes, where a static build is cheaper and faster, and an application with real business logic behind it, where custom development fits better. WordPress does need looking after, meaning updates, backups and security, which is why maintenance is offered here as a separate service instead of being left out of the conversation.
Do I get a design of my own, or a ready-made theme?
A design of your own, in every package. The structure, the layout and the visual design are made for your business and then built by hand. A bought theme is faster to deliver, but you inherit its weight, its limits and its look, and so does everyone else who bought it.
Can you build a WordPress website from an existing Figma design?
Yes, that is the front-end development service. Send the Figma file, or XD or Sketch, and it is built as WordPress, from 190 euro per template or from 1,190 euro for a full design system. The build goes faster when the file defines components, states and spacing, names the mobile breakpoint, includes the fonts with their licence, and marks which parts the client needs to edit themselves. Anything the design does not cover, such as empty states, form errors or a title long enough to wrap onto three lines, gets raised before the build starts rather than guessed at halfway through. For agencies the work can be white labelled.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes, and the handover session exists so that you can. Text, images, prices, pages and posts are all yours to edit in WordPress. FDesign is there when you want something changed that goes beyond editing content, not for every phone number that needs updating.
Who owns the domain, the hosting and the code?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and you get full administrator access to the site. If you decide to move the site to another provider or another developer, you take everything with you and nothing is held back.
How long does a build take?
Around two to three weeks for a five-page site and four to six weeks for a larger one, from the point where the content is available. The stage that decides the timeline is almost always content, not development, so the earlier the texts and photographs arrive, the earlier the site goes live.
