A site is not finished when it goes live
Two things keep a WordPress site healthy after handover. Neither is compulsory, and both can be taken elsewhere.
Hosting and server
Managed hosting on FDesign's own server, with SSL, daily off-server backups and Cloudflare in front. The domain stays registered in your name, and the site can be moved out whenever you want it moved.

What people ask before starting
How much does a WordPress website cost?
A five-page business site starts at 790 euro and a ten-page site with a blog starts at 1,390 euro, both excluding VAT. Larger or custom projects are quoted after the brief. The reason FDesign publishes these numbers is that the design is included in them. Packages advertised at a lower price often treat a design made for you as a separate charge, which is where the difference usually appears.
Do I get a design of my own, or a ready-made theme?
A design of your own, in every package. The structure, the layout and the visual design are made for your business and then built by hand. A bought theme is faster to deliver, but you inherit its weight, its limits and its look, and so does everyone else who bought it.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes, and the handover session exists so that you can. Text, images, prices, pages and posts are all yours to edit in WordPress. FDesign is there when you want something changed that goes beyond editing content, not for every phone number that needs updating.
Who owns the domain, the hosting and the code?
You do. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and you get full administrator access to the site. If you decide to move the site to another provider or another developer, you take everything with you and nothing is held back.
How long does a build take?
Around two to three weeks for a five-page site and four to six weeks for a larger one, from the point where the content is available. The stage that decides the timeline is almost always content, not development, so the earlier the texts and photographs arrive, the earlier the site goes live.
