Managed Automation
Your automations, watched and kept working
Monitoring, fixes and small changes for the integrations and robots your business now depends on. When a supplier changes a file, an API moves or a key expires, the failure is caught and fixed before the work piles up.
From €290 a month. No minimum term, cancel any month, and everything keeps running if you do, because the code and the accounts are yours.
| # | Item | Detail | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Orders to the ERP | 4,812 runs | Running |

| 3 | Invoice route, new myDATA version | before go-live | Updated |
| 4 | Extra channel on the stock feed | 1.5 h | Changed |

What it is
What does managed automation cover?
Managed automation is someone watching your automations every day, fixing them when they break, keeping them in step with the systems around them, and making the small changes your business needs as it moves.
It starts where a build ends. Every build comes with thirty days of fixes, and after that the automation is on its own unless somebody is watching it. The systems it talks to keep changing without asking you, so the question is not whether something will need attention, only whether anyone notices in time.
Fixes to what already runs are always included and never come out of your hours. The monthly hours are for changes you ask for. New automations are quoted separately, as an automation build or a robot.
It is worth having if
- orders, invoices or stock now move through an automation the business cannot do without
- nobody in the company knows the code well enough to fix it at short notice
- the person who built it has moved on, and the documentation left with them
- you sell on channels whose feeds, rules or APIs change during the year
- your invoices go through myDATA, whose specification keeps being revised
One automation that rarely changes may not need a plan at all. The call will say so, and fixes by the hour stay available at €65.
What you get
What comes with every plan
The same six things at every tier. The tiers differ in how many automations are covered and how many hours of changes come with them.
Daily monitoring
Each automation reports in when it runs. A missed run, a growing queue or a run that handled far fewer items than usual raises an alert, not only an outright error.
Fixes always included
When something that worked stops working or starts producing the wrong result, it is fixed as part of the plan. Fixes never come out of your hours.
Changes kept up with
New API versions, revised tax specifications, certificates and keys that expire on a schedule. Tracked in advance, and applied before they break anything.
Hours for small changes
2, 4 or 8 hours a month for the changes you ask for: a new field, a different rule, another channel, a new recipient for a report.
A one-page report
Every month: what ran, what failed and how it was fixed, what was changed and how long it took, and what expires or changes next.
Nothing held back
The code, the documentation and the accounts stay in your name. Cancel any month and every automation keeps running exactly as it did.
Fix, change or new work
A fix is anything that used to work and no longer does, or now gives the wrong result: always included. A change is something new you ask of an automation that already runs, such as an extra field, rule, channel or recipient: it comes from the monthly hours. New work is a new automation: it is quoted as a build, at a fixed price, before anything starts.
Why it needs watching
What changes underneath an automation while nobody is looking
An automation that worked on the day it was delivered can stop the following month without anyone touching it. These are the usual reasons, and each of them runs on someone else's calendar. Plans run remotely for businesses in Greece, in Cyprus and anywhere else.
Platforms move their APIs APIS
Some shop platforms release a new API version every three months and support each one for about a year. WooCommerce removed its older REST API entirely in 2024, and every integration still using it stopped. Keeping up is routine work, if somebody is doing it.
Tax specifications are revised MYDATA
The myDATA specification has been revised more than once in the past year, and B2B e-invoicing reaches every remaining Greek business on 1 October 2026. An invoice route that is not updated in time does not fail politely: invoices are rejected.
Certificates and keys expire EXPIRY
Security certificates may last at most 200 days from March 2026, 100 days from March 2027 and 47 days from March 2029, and many API keys expire on their own schedule. Each expiry is a silent stop unless the date is tracked and renewed first.
Suppliers and portals change SOURCES
A supplier adds a column to the price file, a portal moves a button, a marketplace changes its order format. None of it is announced to you, and each one is the kind of change monitoring catches on the first run it affects.
Sources Shopify: API versioning. WooCommerce: removal of the legacy REST API. DigiCert: TLS certificate lifetimes. AADE: Mandatory electronic invoicing.
Support or management
Hourly support or a managed plan: what is the difference?
Both cost a monthly amount. The difference is who notices the problem first, and whether fixing it eats into what you paid for.
| Question | Hourly support pack | FDesign managed automation |
|---|---|---|
| Who notices a failure | You do, usually when a customer or the accountant asks, and then you open a ticket | The monitoring does, usually before anyone in the company is affected |
| Fixes | Paid from the same hours as everything else | Always included, never taken from your hours |
| Changes around it | Handled when you ask, which is often after they have broken something | API versions, tax specifications, certificates and keys tracked in advance |
| What you see each month | An invoice and a count of hours | A one-page report of what ran, failed, was fixed, changed and expires next |
| If you leave | Depends on who holds the code and the accounts | Nothing stops: the code, the documentation and the accounts are already yours |
| Minimum term | Often several months or a year | None, cancel any month |
Hourly help stays available too, at €65 an hour, for anyone with a single automation that rarely changes. The free 20-minute call is enough to tell which one fits.
Built by someone else
Can you take over automations someone else built?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people call: the developer has moved on, the automation still runs, and nobody knows how. Before anything is taken on, a one-off takeover check finds out what you actually have.
- An inventory. Every automation, what it does, what it depends on and when it runs.
- Access and ownership. Where the code lives, which accounts and keys it uses, and whether they are in your name or someone else's.
- Health. What fails today without anyone knowing, what is about to expire, and what has no error handling at all.
- Documentation. What exists, and a short version written where nothing does.
- A plain answer. Either it goes onto a plan as it is, or you get a priced list of what has to be fixed first. The choice stays yours.
- Takeover check, once
- €190
- Repairs needed first, if any
- priced before work
- Monthly plan, up to 2 automations
- €290 a month
- Minimum term
- none
- Known before you commit
- every line
The check is worth having even if you decide not to take a plan: you end up knowing what runs, where it runs and whose name is on it, which is more than most businesses know about automations they inherited.
How it works
How a managed plan starts and runs
Free call
20 minutes on what runs today, what it does for the business and what has gone wrong before. You leave knowing whether a plan, hourly help or nothing is the right answer.
Book the callOnboarding
For automations built here, the plan starts when the thirty days of free fixes end. For anything built elsewhere, the takeover check comes first.
Monitoring set up
Each automation reports in on every run, alerts go to the right people, and the expiry dates of keys and certificates go on a calendar.
Every month
Watched every day, fixed when needed, changed when you ask, and summed up on one page. You can cancel before any month starts.
Automations that have been kept running every day for years
The same care goes into the automations that run every day for a Greek health and supplement business: orders reaching a SoftOne ERP, a morning report on marketplace prices, and customer lists kept current from the shop. They are the reference for what a plan involves in practice.
What watching them involves
- Checking every morning that each automation ran and handled a normal number of items
- Updating the connections when a platform, the ERP or the tax specification changes
- Renewing keys and certificates before they expire, not after
- Adjusting rules when the business adds a channel, a product type or a new report
What it prevents
- Orders that stopped reaching the ERP on a Friday and were found on Monday
- Invoices rejected because a specification changed and nobody updated the route
- A report that quietly stopped arriving while everyone assumed it was fine
- Emergency work at emergency prices, because the problem was seen late
Cancel any month
A plan is only worth keeping if it earns its place every month, so there is no minimum term. If you stop, every automation keeps running, the code and documentation are already yours, and any developer can take over from the notes left behind.

FAQ
Questions about managed automation
What is managed automation?
It is a monthly plan in which someone watches your automations every day, fixes them when they break, keeps them in step with changes in the systems around them, and makes small changes when the business needs them. It covers integrations, scheduled robots and AI steps alike.
How much does managed automation cost?
From €290 a month for up to two automations, €450 for up to six and from €690 with no cap on the number, all excluding VAT. Each plan includes all fixes and 2, 4 or 8 hours of changes a month. Extra hours are €65.
What counts as a fix, and what as a change?
A fix is anything that used to work and no longer does, or now gives the wrong result, and it is always included. A change is something new you ask of an automation that already runs, such as an extra field, rule, channel or recipient, and it comes from the monthly hours. A new automation is quoted as a build.
What happens to hours I do not use?
They do not carry over to the next month. The plan is priced on the monitoring and the fixes, which happen whether you ask for changes or not, and the hours are there for the months when you need them.
Is there a minimum term?
No. Plans run month to month and can be cancelled before any month starts. A plan should earn its place every month, not because a contract says so.
What happens to my automations if I cancel?
They keep running exactly as before. The code, the documentation and the accounts are in your name, so nothing is switched off and nothing has to be handed back. Any developer can take over from the notes.
How fast do you respond when something breaks?
Response times are written into your agreement for each plan before you sign, so you know exactly what to expect. Monitoring runs every day, and support hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 18:00, Athens time.
What is in the monthly report?
One page: how many times each automation ran, what failed and how it was fixed, what was changed and how many hours it took, and what is about to expire or change, such as keys, certificates and API versions.
Can you take over automations someone else built?
Yes. A one-off takeover check at €190 comes first: an inventory of what runs, where the code and accounts live, what is failing unnoticed, and what is about to expire. Then it either goes onto a plan as it is, or you get a priced list of what should be repaired first.
Do you manage automations that run on Make, Zapier or n8n?
Yes, as long as the account is yours. The same monitoring, fixes and reports apply, and the platform subscription stays in your name, paid by you to the provider.
Do I need a plan straight after a build?
No. Every build comes with thirty days of fixes at no charge, and a plan, if you want one, starts after that. Some automations barely change and are fine with occasional help by the hour.
What does the monitoring actually check?
That each automation ran when it should have, that it handled a normal number of items, that nothing is piling up in its queue, and that the totals match on both sides where that matters. A run that reports success but handled nothing is treated as a failure.
Who pays for hosting and monitoring tools?
Hosting and any platform subscriptions stay in your name and are paid by you to the provider, as they were before. The monitoring that the plan needs is part of the plan.
Does the plan cover the e-invoicing route?
Yes, if the automation sends invoices to a certified provider or to AADE. When the myDATA specification changes, the route is updated before the change applies, so invoices are not rejected on the day it does. Your accountant still confirms the tax side.
Do you work with businesses outside Greece?
Yes. Plans run remotely, in Greek or English, for businesses in Greece, Cyprus and any other country. Businesses elsewhere in the EU with a VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge, so no Greek VAT is added.
Tell me what runs today, and who notices when it stops
List the automations your business depends on and who built them. You get back the plan that fits, or a straight answer that hourly help is enough.
It helps to say what each automation does, what it connects, who built it, and what went wrong the last time it stopped.
Fixes always included. No minimum term. Cancel any month and everything keeps running.
