Founder of FDesign, Senior WordPress and WooCommerce Engineer
Dorothy Fiedor is a senior WordPress and WooCommerce engineer in Athens and the founder of FDesign. She designs, builds and runs production stores end to end, from the UX and the custom plugins to WooCommerce HPOS migrations, ERP and marketplace integrations, and the managed hosting behind them, including PHP-FPM worker tuning and MariaDB upgrades. Since 2020 she has also been the in-house WordPress engineer for a multi-brand supplement e-commerce group.
Her background is in design. She trained in graphic design in Athens and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, produced multilingual publications for EU institutions, and moved to the web in 2015, building WordPress sites, hand-coded HTML email for major brands such as Papastratos and BMW, and Magento front ends for car parts retailers, while growing FDesign alongside. That route from design into engineering is why her work covers the interface, the code and the infrastructure as one job.

FAQ
Integration connects two systems through their APIs, so data moves between them without anyone retyping it. RPA uses software robots to work through a system's screens when it has no API, the way a person would. Business process automation is the wider job: it takes a whole process, such as order to invoice, and uses integration, RPA or AI wherever each one fits.
With the process that costs the most hours or causes the most mistakes. For most businesses that is order entry, invoicing, reporting or customer follow-up. If the answer is not obvious, the process audit finds it, and the audit fee is credited against the build if you go ahead.
A process audit starts at 190 euro. Automation builds start at 790 euro, at a fixed price agreed before work starts, and managed automation starts at 290 euro a month. Consulting is 65 euro an hour. All prices exclude VAT (24%).
Usually, yes. FDesign works most with WordPress and WooCommerce, ERP systems such as SoftOne, marketplaces, Google Sheets and email. A system with an API can be connected directly, and one without an API can often be handled with RPA instead.
No. AI is added where the input is messy, such as scanned documents or free-text emails, and a person still checks the result. Where a simple rule does the job, the rule is cheaper and more reliable, so that is what gets built.
